18 febbraio: Betsky intervista Thonik
al Triennale Design Museum
Per tutto il periodo d’apertura, Graphic Design Worlds animerà la Triennale con eventi, workshop, attività didattiche e visite guidate. Dopo la presentazione di A New Kilo e gli incontri con le scuole (qui e qui), un nuovo appuntamento con i designer in mostra: il 18 febbraio alle ore 19 presso il Teatro Agorà del Triennale Design Museum si terrà una intervista a porte aperte condotta da Aaron Betsky con Thomas Widdershoven, fondatore dello studio Thonik.
L’intervista è organizzata in collaborazione con Premsela e il Consolato Generale dei Paesi Bassi a Milano, e si inserisce nell’ambito di “Pioneers of Industrial Culture”, progetto che Premsela porta avanti dal 2010 con lo scopo di esplorare la nozione di cultura industriale attraverso l’esperienza diretta di designer contemporanei, intellettuali ed esperti del settore.
L’incontro è aperto al pubblico.

Throughout the opening period, Graphic Design Worlds will animate the Triennale with events, workshops, educational activities and guided tours. Following the booklaunch of A New Kilo and meetings with the schools (see articles here and here), on February 18, at 19, the Teatro Agorà of the Triennale Design Museum will host an interview open to the public conducted by Aaron Betsky with the designer Thomas Widdershoven, founder of Thonik of Amsterdam, whose work is on show in the exhibition.
The interview is organized by the Triennale di Milano, in collaboration with Premsela and the General Consulate of the Netherlands in Milan, and is part of “Pioneers of Industrial Culture”, a project from Premsela which aims to explore industrial culture through the direct experience of designers, intellectuals and experts.
